The development scan supports employees with their development in their current job, within the current organisation (both horizontally and vertically) and, if necessary, outside the current organisation. A development scan consists of three questionnaires focused on personality, working styles and motives. Based on these questionnaires, the employee receives feedback on the (organisation specific) competencies that are relevant to him or her. The development scan is suitable as input for a Personal Development Programme (PDP)-discussion with the supervisor or Human Resources. The effectiveness of the development scan increases substantially when people who work with the scan (HR employees and/or supervisors) have received training. This training provides them with insight into the scan, how it works and how to interpret it. The training is conducted by LTP consultants. Participants receive detailed information about the concepts behind the development scan, which questionnaires are used, the way the report is generated. In addition there is plenty of time for practicing development discussions related to the outcomes of a scan. |
