This page provides information about e-assessment because taking part in an assessment via internet can be a cause of stress. Below, you will be able to read what an e-assessment is, how it works, and tips that might help you to prepare for it. There is also information about the report and the discussion that takes place about the report.
What is an e-assessment? All parts of the e-assessment are taken on a secured website. This is why it is possible to do the e-assessment without capacity tests at home or at the office. You only need to have a computer with internet access. An e-assessment including capacity tests will need to be done in a controlled setting. This might mean you need to come to one of the LTP locations or that you are expected to go to a certain location in your organisation. How should I prepare? The most important tip: try to be relaxed when you start the e-assessment. How does an e-assessment work? When you are invited for an e-assessment in a controlled environment, you will generally be informed by your supervisor. Prior to the assessment, an appointment will be made with you by phone or email. You won’t need to log-in yourself, but someone will guide you during the day of the e-assessment. Once you are logged-in and start the e-assessment, you will first see an overview of all the questionnaires and tests you need to complete. You can decide where to start and you can also take a break in between tests. Personality tests don’t have a time limit and you can take your time to fill those out. Capacity tests have a time-limit and must be completed in one go. When time is up the test will automatically close and you will no longer be able to make any adjustments. The remaining time for a test is always visible and it is not alarming if you have not finished all the assignments. Who can I contact if I encounter technical problems? How will I receive feedback about my results? It is important for you to know that we will only send the report to your supervisor (or Human Resources advisor) once we have received consent from you. If you don’t wish to send the report, we will inform the recipient and not send it. More information |
