During a career assessment, there is almost always a desire or need (in the case of outplacement) to change jobs. This assessment form is intended for people who want to explore a few potential new roles or functions. What qualities and talents are present, what requires attention to be able to successfully take the next step in the career?
Does he or she choose an executive position? Or for the content of a staff position? A typical question for a career assessment is which job suits your employee best.
A career assessment involves more than just the assessment day itself to provide this insight. In addition to a preliminary interview and a follow-up interview, a three-way interview may also be conducted afterwards to ensure that the advice and further development of the participant can be put into practice.
A suitable program is put together, depending on the development requirement and the weight of the function. Components include personality questionnaires, capacity tests, interviews with psychologists, role-playing and/or business games.
The assessment report contains personal career advice, possible next steps for the candidate and how these can best be addressed, including:
- Competence scores with an explanation
- Insight into personality, level of intelligence and motivation
- Summary of strengths and weaknesses
- Insight into the VQ: Ability to change
- Development tips for potential qualities
